Here's what to do: Choose a book from one of the lists above and purchase it through your favorite bookseller in hardback. Bring it in to the Library Reference Desk this holiday season. A gift bookplate can be displayed in your book in honor of someone special to you at your request. Or...if you would like to give a book not on the list, call the library at 818 360-5706 or email Children's Librarian Marilou Schaaf at mschaaf@lapl.org to be sure they can use it before making your purchase. The library needs copies of popular children's books, so don't wait!
